We are currently looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager Scaffolding – Doka Finland.

Doka Finland is entering an exciting and challenging time where we are looking to accelerate our expansion in the Scaffolding segment. This is a highly prioritized cornerstone in our long- term strategy and is key to our future success.

Are you from the Scaffolding industry with deep skills in both operational and strategic Scaffolding topics? Do you enjoy a dynamic and challenging international environment and get motivated by customer contact and driving sales? Then this is the right opportunity for you!

Our expectations for the new role:

  • Develop a strategy, strategic overview and implementation plan for the Scaffolding business in Doka Finland.
  • Screen potential business by analysing the market, project requirements (both technical and commercial), potential and commercial viability; evaluate options and manage internal priorities.
  • Identify and qualify large project opportunities in Finland.
  • Coordinate pre-qualification processes to approach potential clients, express interest of bidding and ensure the successful pre-qualification of the company
  • Study necessary requirements to work in specific countries/projects (approvals/permits/licenses) and jointly with countries work on their fulfillment
  • Win new business by actively approaching customers and coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, project managers and with Doka internal stakeholders.
  • Follow up on the project pipeline and plan customer visits together with the country sales team
  • Drive scaffolding marketing initiatives in the country.

Qualifications


What do we expect from a skilled candidate:

  • Diploma in Business or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Construction).
  • Extensive sales and business development experience in the scaffolding sector in the Finnish market.
  • Sound knowledge of scaffolding systems and standards, including the ring-lock system.
  • On-site scaffolding experience.
  • Relationship network to potential scaffolding clients and other key stakeholders in the scaffolding industry in the country.

Skills / Characteristics:

  • Solid communication skills in Finnish and English.
  • Diplomatic approach and a high level of negotiation skills.
  • Ability to gain trust, build rapport and network.
  • Ability to develop and drive a strategy and achieve targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Networking skills.
