Konecranes Information Technology organization develops innovative IT services that help to transform data into knowledge. IT provides services to enable secure, reliable and productive operations around the clock. The service portfolio is wide - from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.
We are looking for Concept Owner, Power BI Platform, to join our IT Data to Knowledge organisation. In this role you will be joining a team which enables Konecranes data-driven business with the next generation data platform capabilities, reporting and analytics.
Your key responsibilities:
- Translating business requirements into common Power BI guidance
- Contributing to the corporate report development process by providing solutions and best practices of Power BI and Data Authorization & Mgmt System (DAMS)
- Acting as Agile team Product Owner for Power BI platform
- Guiding Power BI developers' work
- Contributing to testing and exploring configuration possibilities
- Documenting, communicating and training to achieve solutions adoption
- Solving production incidents in co-operation with application management support teams
- Creating E2E solutions in co-operation with Platform Owner and Architecs
Concept Owner, Power BI Platform reports to Manager, BI & KDP development.
What should you bring?
To succeed in this position, you need to have:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Several years of experience with reporting tools and MS Power BI technology
- Knowledge in Data Warehousing concepts, Data Vault, other Data modelling techniques and MS Azure technology is a benefit
- Knowledge of processes in industrial business environment and SAP ERP is considered a plus
- Analytical and systematic way of working
- Fluent communication in both written and spoken English
- Collaboration and negotiation skills, with a service mindset
