Siemens 5G Solutions is looking for a motivated Senior Embedded Software Developer to strengthen our development team in Oulu, Finland. This role is part of our Firmware team that develops lower layer software and firmware for our industry leading 5G test solution X-STEP hardware platforms.
As a Senior Embedded Software developer, you will be working on the X-STEP Hardware products developing and integrating lower layer software and drivers. Your responsibilities will include: determine feasibility, design, analyze, implement and debug frontaul protocols and control software. This role also supports software engineers by providing technical assistance, mentoring their work and facilitating educational opportunities.

Qualification and encouraged skills:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proven hands-on experience in agile software development using C/C++ technologies.
- Experience in writing lower layer software (hardware access) or Linux kernel drivers.
- Experienced with embedded hardware devices and high-speed serial interfaces
- Familiar with hardware bring-ups.
