As Test Manager you will manage the operational test process and procedure and continuously teach and guide our Test specialists with best practice and create awareness from others on how and why to use a test framework.

Job Description

As Test Manager you will be highly involved in the project to replace the current collection system with a new commercial solution. This is a large project consisting of multiple streams which will require a large amount of effort and resources in close collaboration with selected system vendor.

There will be a need to define a common approach on how to ensure quality in the deliveries. That’s why we now need to extend our team with a person that holds experience in test management and will strongly collaborate with quality assurance.

This role can evolve depending on the candidate, personal preferences, and previous experience. For example, the role may include managerial responsibility of the testing team.

We believe you have the following or similar experience:

  • Knowledge and experience in test automation frameworks and tools, for example following tools / technologies can be considered a plus:
  • Selenium
  • BrowserStack
  • Blazemeter
  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence for business requirements, test cases and related tracking
  • Ability to guide test automation engineers and testers within selected frameworks
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience of test management
  • Relevant university degree or similar education or experience
  • Fluent, both speech and writing, in Finnish as well as in English

Who are you?

We are looking for a Test Manager who have the combination of leading large projects and an understanding of our industry and/or have previously been a Test Manager. You have documented experience of successfully leading large test processes. You are a confident communicator and enjoy working effectively with different teams and stakeholders. The industry we operate in is governed by laws and regulations and it is desirable that you have some experience of the industry before. You have a strong problem-solving attitude and are used to making decisions while navigating complex situations.

  • Manage and organize the test team to plan, execute and analyze the project
  • Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
