We are looking for an NDT Specialist at Fortum Turbine and Generator Services (TGS)

Our main focus operating areas are Nordic countries, Baltics, Continental Europe and selected international markets. We have over 160 professionals and hundreds of clients worldwide.

Your role description as an NDT specialist
In your role as a specialist you will be responsible for providing engineering support in our projects in Finland, Sweden and abroad. In your duties you will also support sales, workshop and on-site activities by coordinating and planning the non-destructive testing activities in cooperation with our subcontractor network.
Assorted main duties:
- Coordinating NDT resources for all the turbine projects
- Creating generic and specific NDT instructions for the turbine inspections
- Expanding the NDT subcontractor network

Your qualifications
To succeed in the role, we believe you should have a Bachelor or MSc degree in mechanical engineering and experience of steam turbines and power plants. You have good basic computer skills and experience in NDT techniques. Having IWI, IWE, IWT or IWS degree is an advantage.
Since both our customers and own staff are international you are fluent in English and ready to travel. Ability to react rapidly in changing situations is an appreciated skill.

- Previous experience in NDT activities in workshop or field environment
- Fluent written and spoken English
