System Specialist, Supply Chain [Finland]


 

Are you experienced with ERP solutions, preferably Microsoft products such as F&O or Business Central? Have you been part of the IT team working in the supply chain area? Would you like to make an impact and work with the circular economy, recycling, and waste projects? We are looking for a new System Specialist to join our team in Espoo or Riihimäki office. Your future team members currently operate in Espoo, Riihimäki (FIN), and Nyborg (DK) with a flexible hybrid work model.

As the System Specialist for Fortum's supply chain applications and their lifecycle management, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. From defining concepts to leading development and ultimately deploying supply chain solutions, you play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations. You actively participate in service operations and development projects, collaborating closely with colleagues from various parts of Fortum's IT organization, as well as product and process owners from the business.


Effective communication skills are essential for excelling in this position. You skillfully orchestrate planning efforts with stakeholders, working together to establish a shared vision of product goals and priorities. Additionally, you work in close collaboration with a solution architect to design technical solutions and target architecture, providing support and cooperation throughout the process.


Taking charge of the implementation roadmap for your application portfolio, you meticulously plan and lead the way for successful implementation. You maintain a strong connection with Fortum's business areas, IT colleagues, and suppliers to effectively meet business demands.

About you


  • You are a professional with high energy and drive to exceed expectations
  • You have a strong technical background in ERP solutions, preferably from Microsoft products such as F&O or Business Central
  • You possess solid change management and planning skills, the ability to build a common vision and inspire people around you
  • You question the status quo in a constructive way, encourage collaboration, and communicate fluently with both business and IT stakeholders
  • You are excited about getting hands-on solving problems, creating new solutions, and can adapt quickly to business priorities
  • You are a seasoned IT professional in supply chain and logistics with a good understanding of the circular economy or traditional industrial production, planning, and sourcing processes. Experience with SAFe, Scrum, ITIL, or other similar frameworks is considered an advantage
  • Degree in computer science, industrial management, or business administration is highly valued
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • As our business is international, readiness for occasional travel is needed
