As Operations Leader you will be responsible for managing the growth and profitability of the maintenance and installation business, as well as leading the local management team and their performance in the delivery the operational services. Harnessing the regional strategic priorities you will focus on securing GVR's position as the region's undisputed market leader.
The role has responsibility for results including P&L management, along with ensuring HSE performance, commitment and compliance. Key to the success of the business is understanding and implementing GVRS strategy which is integral to the success of the Finnish business.
This key role is expected to bring stability, growth and predictability to the business, strengthening performance.
- Proven track record with evidence of achievement of objectives, budgets, KPI's tangible margin improvements and continual improvements
- A proven manager of people with a measurable track record of creating successful teams in service delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Experience in the field of technology, technical know-how and learning of technical problems, including maintenance processes
- Analytical skills - the ability to assimilate and analyse basic data and offer profitable business solutions
- Goal focused, reputation for delivery and passion for service excellence.
- The ability and desire to learn new things combined with an understanding of the important of HSE issues within the field of work both internally and externally on customer sites.
