We are now looking for experienced professionals to join our highly competent and growing ESG Advisory team
Our ESG Advisory team in Consulting helps leading companies solve ESG-related business issues and create value through ESG in exciting and many times pioneering strategic projects. Our professionals work in ESG Strategy, Net Zero Transformation, ESG Reporting & Technology and ESG in Deals.
As part of our team you will be part of some of the most exciting ESG Advisory engagements within PwC globally, working closely together with professionals from across the firm and the global network. ESG is one of the cornerstones of PwC’s strategy The New Equation, as well as one of the fastest-growing business areas both in Finland as well as PwC worldwide. This makes this an excellent opportunity to join a fast-moving and growing area.
In your role you will be selling and delivering a wide range of client projects, leading a team of experts and junior consultants. In your role you will work closely with clients to ensure sustainable results, including the implementation of our recommendations into practice. In addition, you will have an important role in developing our services to meet rapidly changing market expectations.
To succeed in the role, ideally you would have some of the following:
At least 3 years of experience in a consulting or over 5 years in a client organisation in a project management / business development role
Experience leading (project) teams in challenging environments, proven organisational skills and structured way of working against budgets and tight deadlines.
Proactive attitude with a capability to develop business and conceptualise services. Experience in the sales process in consulting is a major asset.
A passion for ESG issues in the private sector, with experience or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following: ESG strategy, climate / decarbonisation / energy transition / Net Zero transformation, ESG reporting & technology, sustainable finance or ESG in the deals context
Knowledge of ESG-related industry regulation and standards, such as the EU Taxonomy for Sustainable Economic Activities, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and Greenhouse Gas protocol, is considered an advantage yet not a prerequisite
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in English and preferably in Finnish; other languages such as Swedish are a plus.
A relevant academic degree
